George Staunton Stainforth and family soon after their move from Wimbledon to 'The Curragh', Ermyn Way in Leatherhead in 1928. L-R around him: wife Mary, uncle Rev A E Glover and aunt Ethel Glover. Shortly after their move to Leatherhead, George Staunton had a major relapse with his TB/Pott's disease (which had crippled him since 1911) that lasted for at least a year.
